Socha Jiřího z Poděbrad

My first days in the Czech Republic were full of mix of feelings. Excitement, Exhaustion, happiness, and Sadness.
A friend of my father’s met me at the airport and took me for a tour around Prague, we had breakfast and then we went to the Krystal Hotel where the transit office is. Then we came to Podebrady. First impression of the town was great, I really loved the Center and the statue of George of Podebrady.
I got registred at the dormitory and tbe castle and the journey had just started.
I started to get myself ready, with registration at the bank and getting to know the town. The second day here was awesome, I went to the supermarket and bought a lot of stuff, as well as TESCO where I bought some of the kitchen appliances. I cooked and began to get adapted to the life in the dormitory. I did all this with my roomate Sardor from Uzbekistan. I have been here for 2 weeks now and I am liking it a lot and hope the rest of the year holds nice days for me.
